Coloring Book (Chance's 3rd Mixtape)

Opinions or first impressions? I'm only halfway through as I write this and it's pretty dope.

Juke Jam, Same Drug, No Problem, Mixtape, and Finish Line are all really dope. I was going to make a list of the songs I thought were good but then realized it was all of them :/

 

I've been listening to Chance since acid rap and he's really changing styles. I'm not really enjoying a majority of the album, but there are a few good songs.

 

Didn't really enjoy the mixtape that much his flow has gone from being original to trying to sound like someone hes not

 

Which is?... Who is he trying to sound like? He's not trying to sound like anyone... He's simply changing styles or varying rather than changing since I'm sure he'll do shit like his older stuff in the future. This is diversity in the rap game and I personally love the mixtape.

 

I like it. It's different from what I usually listen to, but it's good nonetheless.

Acid Rap is one of my all time favorites. This one didn't do it for me.

 

He pretty much bit the style of his features on every song that has a feature. This tape is getting way too much hype imo but Chance is the next big thing since sliced bread at the moment it seems like. It doesn't deliver and comes off too preachy for my taste.

 

I personally didn't like any of his older stuff, i heard this and jammed to it throughout the whole mixtape. I was FEELIN it.
