Manchester is an awesome city, with many great places to go out drinking / socializing and the such.

I'd say if you like the comfort you're in in Oman, you should stay so you can pretty much focus more on your studies while having fun whereas in Manchester, changing seasons is a pain, and you just in overall wont be in the comfort you currently are in.
