College Basketball Discussion Thread 2014-2015

[I Bleed Duke Blue]

Can you believe it!? It is already that time of year again, the College Basketball season is upon us starting tomorrow.

Who is your team?

Who is your pick to win it all?

What players do you have an eye on this season?

For me, I am obviously a Duke fan. We start off with Presbyterian and then move onto a tough game against Michigan State. I like when Duke has challenging games to start, because it immediately gives me a barometer of how good they may or may not be.

As for my pick to win it all, I know the popular pick is Kentucky, but I'm actually going to go with Wisconsin.

Player I'm watching? Frank Kaminsky of Wisconsin. Incredibly fun player to watch.

First in their conference, seems to me like they'll make it.

Ohio State doing shitty but will pick it up once tourney time comes.

I don't follow college basketball too closely, but Duke and Texas are my teams

You guys know if Texas will make it in the bracket?

Yeah Texas will likely make the tournament. They were ranked for much of the year.

Dad's a Duke fan, so I've been raised into one.

Hopefully a team like Dayton won't beat 'em again this year in the tournament lmao.

Yeah, Dayton is honestly a great basketball team though. They've consistently been one of the best Atlantic Ten teams and they never lose anyone early to the NBA. They have chemistry and experience and it showed last year when they beat Ohio State & Syracuse.

im a bid duke fan. The game with UNC was crazy. And we get to see it happen again soon in chapel hill right?? i am a UK hater. I hope they lose 1st round. or go the whole way to the championship and lose in the finals. lets face it many of their starting team wont be there next year as they are a "1 and done school"

They're the only team to beat Duke @ Duke. They're always a good team. Just always seem to be a step or two below that threshold of being able to compete for titles. It must be frustrating for you.

And in other news -- I love seeing all the Duke fans
