Making this thread as I am interested in and able to provide suggestions of which coins to mine (with GPU's) ideally before they have a ANN thread on bitcointalk as this is when difficulty is still low!

PM me or add my skype h4x_00 if this is something you are actively doing would be great to talk with you :)

Anyway I'll get the ball rolling with my first suggestion:

    Pigeoncoin:
Competitive Advantage: uses new X16S algorithim which is similar to Ravencoins X16R, however utilises shuffle instead of random which means less fluctuations in power and hashrate. Ravencoin has gained a lot of support over the last week or so, could see similar with Pigeoncoin
ANN thread: [ANN] Pigeoncoin (PGN) – a cryptocurrency network with a new X16S (shuffle) algo

Why not mine coins that are actually worth something, then input the revenue back into ICOs and coins such as ^
I would think this is probably easier, would generate you more coin, and could be less risky.

Yes that is a less risky option, however I don't mind higher risk for higher reward. People have earned back their rigs over the last few weeks (when it is very hard to!) mining RavenCoin since it started.

Yeah but you coulda just bought ravencoin and had the same result without all the fuss of researching how to mine it etc lol :/
In any case, unless you have good economies of scale + low power prices, i believe that just investing in coins is a far easier option than mining, and will yield pretty much the same results (Price goes up = profit, price down = loss ygm)

It's only as strong as the weakest algorithm so using 16 doesn't exactly come across as an advantage these days. Can't see a good exchange listing it, it all comes down to the devs do they have experience? Have they made prior coins, check the history and see how they turned out. If it's never listed on a exchange then you've wasted your time.

Your right however this is potentially magnitudes more profitable then mining the go to coin.
