Quick question, is there anyway to go directly from Paypal to bitcoin? I don't like to connect my bank and cards to this kind of stuff.

 

Unfortunately, no. You can only do that through shady websites or here on Sythe in the Currency section, although everyone is buying btc with Paypal, not the other way around. You're better off making a bank just to transfer from paypal to btc, it's free I think.

The reason they don't do Paypal -> btc is because of chargeback issues, or so I've heard. I'm glad it is that was because btc would drop as soon as chargebacks became an issue.

Thanks for this. I have no knowledge with BTC and I've been thinking about swapping to it because I've heard it's much safer than paypal. When you said it's almost irreversible do you mean there is no chargebacks? Because that would be absolutely incredible.

 

If you wait for a few confirms (wait 5-10 minutes after they send the money) there is absolutely no way for them to chargeback. Cheers!

I recently tried this and it gave me problems lol .. i had to close my account because they canceled my request to send money from my bank to the circle account. I still haven't gotten my money back.
