Codewords?

So with all the recent hackings that has been occuring recently, i was thinking about how to prevent people from getting scammed, (note, this would only work when dealing with long time sellers/buyers). So i.e if i was buying rsgp off of lets say Divica and i had been doing it for a long time, he could call me on skype and ask if i was interested in a codeword to prevent myself from getting scammed (this would obviously be a vocal codeword so the hacker couldnt find old logs of it). This has probably been thought of before and people might already are doing this but what do you guys think? Yay or nay?

 

0) Skype hackings are rare.
1) No one wants to send/receive skype calls.
2) Request a proper confirmation pm from anyone you trade with, and you should be fine. If the user is hacked, they will have to refund you before continuing to do business here. If you're really worried, use a middleman. If you're paranoid, only trade people for whom your trade wouldn't be worth scamming (though this doesn't always work; cf. Elena)

 

Not really any point as someone that has 2-step verification can't get their sythe accounts hacked, and you shouldn't do trades without getting a PM anyway.

If their Skype is hacked and you do get a PM, you are entitled to a refund or their sythe account gets banned anyway.

 

You can do this if you want.. but it wont ever be anything official. We already strongly advise (and require for reports, so it should be done always) a proper PM on Sythe. If someone is 2Factored on Sythe (http://www.sythe.org/sythe-org-news/1652660-two-factor-authentication-now-available.html) then a PM from them verifies it is that person.
