Renaming Community General isn't necessary

The vast majority seem to be in agreement with it, why pussy foot around with just removing one section "as a start"?

Most of the suggestions seem great

But dont change the name of community general

 

'cause it wouldn't be great of me to make big changes without consulting anyone or discussing each thing. People aren't gonna get community involved if they aren't involved in community decisions.

Community general just sounds boring and doesn't make sense. It's mainly used for events and "fun" type threads

 

I think we've seen that at least 90% of the community have been for your idea of the restructure.

As for the name, why not just simply 'Community'?

 

It would be cool if you could put live streaming at the top but only display online channels. That way twitch streamers can post their streams in hope of gaining viewers. Searching through threads is annoying if most of them are offline...

 

I would love this. Maybe there's a way to make it update automatically when someone's live.

 

Not sure how that would be implemented tbh, would be an awesome feature however.

 

This looks so thorough and well planned, cant wait for the final product. I love how you guys have made sectional mods even clearer, specifying it as League of Legends mod, rather than other games mod.
I will be reading over OP again, and give a more thoughtful input next time.

 

I feel like the discussion sections should be the last subforum under each respective section.

I.e,

LoL
- Boosting
- Gifts/rp/refs
- Accounts
- Discussion.


I also think that the Livestream section should come after the rs/LoL.

 

Has Sythe even agreed to trying this? I mean all of the effort people are putting in will be wasted if the changes can't even be made or discussed.

 

I doubt he has even heard about it.

 

Was kinda hoping for more input/ideas beforehand.

 

There's been quite a bit of input, I mean Sythe could take a look at some of it to see if it is of interest to him. There's really no point of gouging more ideas if the ones presented aren't even going to be addressed and it could take months to compile a decent sized list of items which Sythe might not have been willing to consider changing in the first place. I've been on this site for a few years and since I joined to recently not much has changed and there's probably a reason for that, it could also be the reason why most of these ideas for a forum restructure won't happen.

 

Anything related to the Market (especially Runescape) should be right below the Sythe Community/News stuff. Market first, Runescape second, everything else whatever.

 

Let's actually put things on the table that have a chance of doing something.

 

That's the kind of discussion I was hoping for. Nothing of substance seems to have come from the previous pages.

I agree with all except the last two.

SFA rule reform needs to be done. The section would be so much more active if all intelligent discussions were accepted regardless of argument structure.
