It's up to his discretion; you did insult an admin directly, it's inevitable that you would have received an infraction for it.

(And in case you didn't know, infractions are still given out in the spam forum!)

That's as conspicuous as flaming can be. How can you even dispute this?

 

The fact that it was in the 'Spam' part of Sythe (By the way, how stupid is a spam section that has rules?). I didn't think he (an admin of course) would get so anal about it. But hey, when you cross something like that, and someone who spends their life in front of a screen, its hard to really joke about anything. Yanno? Now I'm not trying to get on anyone's bad side here, but I can't believe you guys (mostly admins, again) are letting this place turn into what it is now. Its hard to even joke around without getting a part-time ban or infraction.
