I think that it would be a good idea if a thread was closed automatically, after if it hadn't been replied to for some amount of days (to prevent gravedigging).

Something like, if a thread hasn't been replied to in 2 weeks, it would be automatically closed. I've seen too many really old and outdated threads being posted to.

EDIT: But not for all sections. I'm mainly talking about the general and cheating sections.

    How 'bout it?

What about OMM threads? Some threads are better left alone.

I didn't think of that, I'll update the suggestion.

There isn't much point. Gravedigging isn't a huge issue anyways.

Not to mention stickys, etc. There would just be no point really in opening all the ones that weren't supposed to lock, back up.

It is an issue though if you're looking for info and something very outdated pops to the top of the forum because someone is gravedigging.

Maybe instead of being locked, it would automatically have an [OLD] tag put on it?

    Sorry Don't support.

Gravedigging isn't a massive issue, and most threads can stay open as it is.

I believe gravedigging isn't even against the rules.

Yeah, what if it's a stickey or you go on holiday for two weeks and you own like a skilling service thread for example? Plus I don't believe grave digging is agaisn't the rules also.
