I'd be slightly more worried about Trump's view of the world and the destabilization that can come along with it (i.e. nuclear weapons in the east, calling for China to invade North Korea, and so forth).

His comments provide insight to him being racist, I'm not making assumptions. Attempting to categorize in excess of 1.4 billion due to the actions of a very negligible amount (I.e. Around 40,000 give-or-take with actual suicide bombers but a fraction of that) is hardly fair. With that logic, I would stop going to movie theaters everytime I saw a disgruntled looking white man.

Building a wall is a monetary and logistical catastrophe. Nearly 40% of illegal immigrants in the U.S. Come from overstaying their visa's and come to the U.S. By planes.. Which will not be deterred by a wall; furthermore, the actual ineffectiveness of the wall is ridiculous. The wall itself is more of a symbolic gesture of disconnect and attempted soverignty than an actual example of how to curb immigration.

Known terrorist countries is incredibly subjective, terrorism is in the eye of the beholder and there is a difference between state-perpetuated terrorism and states that face terrorism. Not counting that also "banning all Muslims" is hardly the same as restricting travel from foreign countries. The U.S. Has restricted travel from specific countries before and if I good enough argument is given, I could possibly support travel restrictions.

I'm not sure who you think is bombing Israel, Israel is no where near a disadvantageous situation in the Middle East and any attempted rockets from Gaza is comparable to throwing a rock at a metal door.

I am not advocating a blind approach towards the issues of terrorism, but rather, a thought out and all encompassing approach.

Have to agree with this. Terrorism comes from any human who wishes to become that. Not from any country. Not from any religion. So I don't see how Trump plans to block people coming in from "terrorist countries" when some terrorists are born American/West/European/Russian whatever as well.

 

Well, not necessairly. There is such a thing as state-sponsored terrorism, but a state itself is unable to commit a terrorist act (due to a terrorist needing to be a non-state actor). Religion itself can purport terrorism and ideology can be used (construed or not) to justify terrorist activities, but in reality the idea of religious terrorists is very off-base. There have been numerous studies in relation to individuals who join "religious" terrorist groups and the overall understanding of the religion they are supposedly fighting for is very minute to say the least. I am still developing my thoughts on reasoning behind terroristic appeal, but there are quite a few individuals who will argue terrorist groups come to the basis of a social group. Ostracized people finding a home (in this case) in terrorist organizations.

Trump has not stated anything involving blocking people from "Terrorist countries"; rather, Trump has called for the banning of the entire religion of Islam.
