    circumcision

Its not just for religious purposes, It's for medical reasons. Forskin can cause medical problems, and difficulties later in life, hence why at birth they take care of it.

    circumcision

I'm just glad I have my package still all together.
I dont see any reason for it but it has been said it reduces chances of getting yeast infections. But that can easily be solved if you wash yourself properly.

    circumcision

I am circumcised and I really couldn't care less infact I am happy with my parents decision. I do not remember anything from then anyway.

Most women I know prefer a circumcised penis over a uncircumcised penis anyway.

After all, it really doesn't matter what happens it's your body, your opinion.

    circumcision

My view on male circumcision is that it is an unnecessary procedure, and decision that should be left to the adult male.

Female circumcision is an entirely different matter. In the vast majority of cases in the western world it is illegal, and is done in dirty environments using savage iron age techniques. Its sole purpose is to remove the enjoyment of sexual intercourse, and is often forced upon adult women when they are married. It is a disgusting, vile act with absolutely no justification.

Circumcision as a infant and an adult is a totally different thing. If your not circumcised at birth, you will 99% of the time not want to be circumcised in the future.

In my honest opinion, I am more then happy to be circumcised there is no negatives, but for me I have many positives; ie all the girls I know say they prefer circumcision due to it quote:looking nicer, and much cleaner also prevents me from diseases, my good friend who is not circumcised has had many std's as I have had none without wearing a condom.

Getting circumcised by your parents opinion is just like your parents opinion of what color clothes you wear or whether to drink breast milk or cows milk as a baby.

At that age, it's there decision what happens to you. You can't control it at that age.

If you assume '99%' of people wouldn't have it done, surely that answers whether it is a good thing or not. If you want it done, then choose to.

It has never been proven that uncircumcised men are more prone to STIs, while not wearing a condom drastically increases the chance of contracting an infection.

What you're saying is that it should happen when you can't do anything about it, which is by any reasoning very skewed logic.

    circumcision

I'm not saying it should happen, I'm saying I am completely fine with it.

Getting skin cut off your penis is just like; example if your in a car crash and your unconscious and the surgeon has no choice but to operate on you. Resulting in cutting you open, and operating on you without consent.

But I guess, it really does not matter. However, circumcision is slowly dieing out.

Your example is absolutely irrelevant, surgery after a car crash is performed to prevent serious harm or death, circumcision is not.

    circumcision

It's not irrelevant at all, there is scientific proof circumcision is for medical reasons. Likewise with surgery.

When I fell out of a tree I cut my arm and landed on my neck as a teenager and I woke up in a hospital bed with 8 stitches in my arm. Did I ask for that? No. Did it help me? Yes.

    circumcision

Circumcision is, in most examples, performed in a religious ceremony according to the rules of the bible, the Torah or the Koran. It is not performed due to medical reasons, that is simply a thoroughly unproved justification.

    circumcision

What if you have a horribly infected pinky toe that could kill you if not removed? I'd do it.

Anyway this is just a fight between the circys and uncircys but and I'm with the latter but tbh Idgaf and neither do most girls.

    circumcision

I'm uncircumcised and I haven't had trouble with women. And if girls have a problem with it, a man could always pull down his foreskin.
I personally don't care if someone gets circumcised.

    circumcision

I was circumcised when I was 18 because my foreskin kept ripping during sex. I suppose I am one of the relatively few guys who have experienced both having a foreskin and not having a foreskin as an adult.

On the cleanliness issue, there is no doubt that circumcision has made it easier to keep clean. I don't know about the disease side of things, but definitley day-to-day cleanliness is easier.

Circumcision has reduced my sensitivity to pain caused by friction, with no loss of general sensitivity, which is positive.

Having experienced both, I can say that you don't lose anything by being circumcised.

    circumcision

I still stand by my view of nearly a year ago: circumcision is mutilation and should be treated the same way as chopping of any other bit of someones body. I'm a little upset I was circumcised against my will, overall, I'm happy with my cack ;)

I'm pretty sure that now a days everyone opts to be circumcised as a baby. It is extremely painful other wise. You don't want to be different, do you?

    circumcision

How do you opt to have it done as a baby? You can't say yes or no.

Furthermore, if you have it done as an adult, it is done under anaesthetic, and is not painful. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Your final statement is entirely redundant.
