Christmas 2014 event Feedback

For the people who are complaining about me and other users writing negative comments, please re-read the title of this thread. This is feedback. If you want me to lie about what I witnessed and say the event was really good, then you won't be seeing me participating in these events again. All I'm trying to do is give my vision, and hope CDT amends the mistakes that occurred this time around. Perhaps next time, the event will not be as judged if the all flaws are fixed now.

We know you gave time during your holidays for a forum, but when you applied to CDT, you should've known what you were up for. I'm not being ungrateful, but all I'm saying is don't complain telling me "I have a life.", when its techinally your job now.

Sorry if I'm sounding like "that guy", but I had to speak my mind.

Roary put them up the night before we posted the thread and I okay'd them. They were intact like an hour before Cas posted the thread, Roary asked me to double check them then - I have pms if you really want to discuss this further...

You make running a scavenger hunt sound like a large-scale operation lol. But no, I haven't; the site literally had problems at like *the* worst possible time. Sorry, but it's nothing we could control; I guess we could have given you the answer, but yeah, that's an extreme situation that no one's prepared for.

And yeah, tallies are a pain, especially because there are like 5 threads all going simultaneously with slightly different rules and rewards. I guess we could standardize in the future...

Np, I'm not offended at least . Ultimately these things are done for you guys (and us!), so if you're not happy with aspects of them, let us know so we can improve them in the future! I can assure you no one's trying to half-ass their events, but stuff does come up sometimes and unfortunately the holiday season is prone to that. As always, the more we know, the more we can do to improve.

The Christmas minirank won't be tradable?

 

Not currently. It's a reward for participating, not just something anyone can get.

 

Then why didn't you make the rest of the event miniranks untradeable?

 

It's untradeable as of now. In the future he will make it tradeable is what he's saying (I'm pretty sure).

 

The rest of the event ones were made tradeable at later dates by Matthew/Sythe.

 

The event was great.

I had a lot of fun in the scavenger hunt, making my karaoke entry, and seeing everyone else's entries/decorations.

As for the CDT, most of the events brought the community together so in my opinion you did a great job. From what I see everyone is satisfied so props.

I'd also like to thank Cas M personally for swiftly helping me receive my prize from the karaoke contest.
