I can get a lenovo y580 for 450$, with a year warranty. Is this a decent deal for the laptop? Or should I look into something else? I had a lenovo y40-80 but it was stolen and I liked the laptop so figured the y580 would be close but a little bigger.
Depends what you want to use it for. Strictly for price that's a great deal, but the Y580 is a bit bulky with so-so battery life. If you're going to have it stationary and plugged in for a majority of the time for, say, gaming, you're probably going to be fine.
