Debating wether to quit or not

Well I've been playing rs since about 05 when my irl friends introduced me to it. But now all of them have quit and forgot about this game, I'm wondering if I should do the same.I swear the only reason I continued to play was to solely pk. All quests, training, skilling , all just to pk. My only goal was to create a maxed pure and I'm so close to it (3 str away 2 range away). But now I don't have the dedication that I had before. Even all my good friend that I made on rs are leaving. I once quit before when free trade and wild was removed. Gave away my zerker and all, but decided to rebuild a great account to play the way I was so familiar with. The wild was great for about 5 months after being re- released. But now its just completely dead. And idk if its just me but it seems like it wont get much better or at least even near what it used to be. Seems like rs has reached its climax and its downfall has begun. I guess every great empire has to fall sometime. Anyway I'm constantly. Told its a childs game though I did know that already but majority of the community in rs was mature since the time I've been playing. But jagex is completely ruining there great game so badly , its just depressing. All the updates are just horrible, a game of such mature excitement is now becoming a childs playground with the wilderness as a jungle gym. Idk I just don't want to quit and sell everything so badly because all that'll come from it is just a few hundred dollars from all that time and effort spent. I just don't feel the wild will ever become great again. Way too much damage has already been done. But that's just how I feel, comment with your opinion and what you think I should do.

Don't feel put off by others around you. What you must ask yourself is "Do I enjoy this game?", if 'Yes' then continue pllaying! All games have there rises and falls, no one know what runescape has instore for the near future. If you love pking so much you'll finish getting those levels you need :')

 

Sounds like your passion for the game is gone and you no longer really want to play. I'd say give it a rest. Try a game that your friends are playing currently (It's always more fun playing with friends)

 

If you dont have the motivation, i say... Take a break.

 

if you enjoy it then keep playing if not then take a break i guess, (theres no quitting )

 

If you really need to think so carefully about whether you WANT to play a game or not there is a problem. Find something to replace RS with

 

Take a break, what's stopping you? You could give another game a shot while you give RS a break.

Keep your account, and eventually you will have the urge to just go on and max out your account There's no point saying "I really want to max my pure, but I have tried so hard to do so, and now I want to quit RuneScape". Not trying to be harsh

 

Well bro if your asking yourself this question it seems you should quit/take a break because if you were having fun playing this game you wouldn't be asking yourself or us this question

 

I felt like I just read your diary. lol, but i'd say just save the stuff you have and quit don't bother selling it.

 

a couple months ago i was in about your position, i played battlefield for a while and some LoL, and didn't touch rs for a month, when i came back i felt much better about the game, but i didn't try to quit or anything, just took a break because i naturally wasn't feeling it. i recommend that

 

Not gonna read the essay; If you don't make money off the game, quit. Otherwise, don't.

 

It happens. Take a long break from Runescape, I go through them fazes a lot. Don't quit, just take time off. Eventually you will return and be as enthusiastic as ever.

Just take a break, see how things are going without RS. After a bit, you can decide if it's worth playing or not. If you want to play, you have to think of what is going to drive you to play (money, goals, 'fun' aspects, etc.)

 

I am on my phone so I don't wanna have my eyes explode from reading it but I have said that I was quitting more times than I count. For reason I'll leave 6 months and come back. I honestly don't enjoy the game anymore but there is the promise of making money that draws me back.

Find a good clan.. many out thereeeeeeeee

Don't quit because of your friends.. you can always make new ones
