    Chinese for Dummies

As China is becoming more of a world power; more and more schools are offering chinese. Now at first chinese is hard as hell to learn, but with my help, you can work through it.

Here are some examples of the tones in basic words.

    Tone #1 一 Shi 1st tone
    Tone #2 十 Shi 2nd tone
    Tone #3 五 Wu 3rd tone
    Tone #4 四 Si 4th tone
Tone #5 (Nature tone) 了Le 5th tone

again this is for those who have some basic chinese training.

There are also (in case you didn't know) differences between traditional and simplified.

    Traditional 誰
    Simplified 谁

As you can see traditional is much more complicated

A hint for remembering phrases is to make flashcards with the English on the front, and the Ping Yi on the back. I've made well over a thousand cards in my journey through chinese classes.

    WILL BE UPDATED

That would be a good idea, except I don't have a way to host them. Provide me with a site and I'll do that.

Vocaroo isn't working for me; I will try to find out why. In the meantime I will try and update this.
