China Bans Goldfarming

China is simpling putting this up, the money been made from gold farming is HUGE! You will see one or two small time farms been taken down maybe even on the news (CBS,CNN,P1) however the one's which pay (bribe) will stay.

I think this is a good move for some former smaller gold sellers, much more business for them now

Wow, all words aside, the video is hands down better than any debatable argument.
I have read many articles throughout the years concerning this issue (who in the gaming world hasn't), but I've never seen an actual video on farmers.
Very intriguing. After watching the video, I am actually against banning it.
Sure, in retrospect the issue sounds bad, but if it's their main source of income, so be it.
They should do some push ups on their spare time though ;p

 

That video was very interesting, their conditions are a lot better than I had pictured!

But yea, even if it is banned goldfarmers will always be there, as long as it is profitable. China has some pretty shit jobs for most people out there, and if they can make a living playing video games then why not?

I must say, that is rather hilarious; a country wide ban for making currency on a game and selling it. They should have taxed it instead? I wouldn't know if they did or not.
