Cheapest Way for 1-99 Herblore?

Have you looked at zombie jar prices at the moment?

He is asking for the cheapest way, not your reasons as to why you should spend 6x your available funds. And in the long run I seriously fail to see how its cheaper or the same, if he just wants the cape and is a level 3 skiller or max pker he may never need ovls. I do agree with you, if you can afford it then yes it is far more beneficial and time effective but not everyone can and it is not cost effective, just the torstol is just under 40k at the moment.

Zombie jars are 54 gp/xp, effectively 20 gp/xp with upcoming bonus xp weekend. That's not that bad for getting millions of xp/h.

Again, time is money. If he just makes some more money and makes overloads, he'll finish faster than with serums. Not to mention he won't need to grind for 130 hours (you could actually get close to 99 agility, mining, woodcutting etc in that time)

You also seem to ignore that overloads do have a value. I'd easily pay 30k each for them if they were tradable. Also, torstols are crashing.

I think I'm going to just do 15-99 with Serum 207s as I'm going to be botting this anyways (I just want 99 herb in less than 10days without spending more than 75m). And I want 99 as opposed to 94 because I want the trimmed skill capes, as I'm getting this on a 99-str obby maul pure

^^ definitely a possibility. but do you realize how long that would take to clean herbs to lvl 99? probably 1000 hours.

 

It actually wouldn't if you have hotkeys set in a certain way, and everything layed out, you can get through a good 8k herbs an hour.

 

yeah, but i'm botting it. so let's say i get 5-6k per hour, that would still require over 200 hours as per this:

Levels 65-99
Herb: Grimy Cadantine
Total herbs cleaned: 1,006,832
