    Looking to go for 99 Mage and want the cheapest way, I have 55 mage atm.

    You could run air orbs, it's slow as hell but you'll make money doing it.

    Way i got 99 mage was alching. Cost me 13m from 80-99 and a couple of weeks.

    Gatestones, Humidify I think is still profitable on soft clay? Uhhh alching certain items... The ways are limited.

    Alching is very cheap. You can alch all sorts of items, this calculator will help you choose items based on their current GE price:

    This chart is fairly accurate and prices are updated regularly, but it may still be inaccurate at times because GE prices fluctuate so often. Double check everything on the GE before you go purchase in bulk.
