Cheap Udemy Courses ($300 courses for $10) - Program, Excel, Finance, Personal Dev

I tried searching the forums for this and thought it would be a great resource to share since it wasn't already posted here. I recently started taking courses from udemy to improve my knowledge of excel and was surprised to see the price tag on some of these courses. I know some of these courses are offerred by the provider for the price it is listed on udemy but the below helped me purchase around $3-4k worth of courses (udemy value) for around $200 and this adds up to around 150-200 hours of coursework.

I'm not sure how long this will last but I've bought a few courses which are available for around $200-$300 from well reputable providers and I spent $10 on each course. Below is an estimated $1300-$1400 worth of courses from reputable providers I purchased for $60.



These courses do provide a certificate on completion but I prefer using these courses for personal development.

I don't think you need a coupon. Udemy is always having $10 courses. I get an email about "any course for $10" very often from them (at least 2 times a month).






Anyone who is interested in these courses should NEVER pay the actual course price. Just wait until their $10 course advertisement comes out (which is multiple times a month). Don't feel like you have to buy a ton of courses now because I am positive they will always have this $10 any course deal. Also it is worth noting that they have a lot of excellent courses that are completely free (I know there is a java course).

I love Udemy. Maybe i'm lucky but so far any course I have taken there blew away my expectations. The video lectures were good quality and the "lecturer" actually interacts and helps the students (in my course anyway).

I'm sure there's multiple ways to get courses but I used the facebook method for $10 courses. I also agree with you that these courses are great, before doing this I almost spent $900 on a full financial modeling package from wall street prep but got majority of the courses for $40 from udemy instead from the same provider.

 

The people who make these lectures must make a lot of money (even after Udemy's cut). There are over 160,000 people who have registered for the web development course I am in. At $10 that is 1.6m. And i'm sure it is way more than that because I am sure people have actually payed the $197 not knowing it is offered for $10 aha.

Lately the emails I have been getting have noted a $15 price (compared to the $10 that was advertised for many months prior) so they may be changing their discount price soon for the "deal". Now would probably be a good time to stock up on courses if you can still get the $10 deal.

 

The coupon codes on the facebook page still provide $10 courses but I've noticed the same thing, I'll log in and see discounted courses at $15 instead of $10.

 

It seems like they are really playing with their price. I got an email today that said $11 lol. Looks like they are trying to find their most profitable sale price.

 

Looks like price is bumped to $12 now, still a great value and I just picked up a course to learn about SQL

At least the good news is that they probably won't bump their price past $15 lol. If they switched from $10 to $15, and now moved backwards, they probably didn't get more profit at $15.

 

Well it is a business, I mean Wallstreet prep sells each course I bought for $300-$400. Same with training the street, I'm not sure if Udemy pays the difference or how it works but its still a very big discount. Still worth it in my opinion even at $20 to get courses from Udemy which are made by a reputable provider. Everyones probably used to the $10 discount which is why they might have waited at $15.

 

I think Wallstreetprep works completely different. It looks like they create all of their courses whereas Udemy lets anyone (for the most part) upload courses and they just take commission from those course sales (this creates competition between uploaders and drives down the price of the course). That is how it looks anyway. That is why Udemy is so great - they are very transparent about their user created courses to drive up competition (they allow potential "students" to review reviews before "enrolling in a course").

Going to bump this since Udemy is currently having a $15 sale. Might be worthwhile to stock up on courses because this is the first sale I have seen in awhile.

Do they offer physics/chemistry? currently i pay around 900 bucks per course for academic upgrading and still got quite a few to go.
