cheap protein/carbs

Well I was at a shop the other day and paid £19 for 850g of protein powder, when I got home I started looking online to see if there was any others since January sales have hit and I found this.

Bought a tub and got next day delivery, and really cheap for 8kg tubs.

Fairly cheap even when converted into USD.

I tend to overspend on whey and casein protein, but I like to have the name brands. O well

 

Does it taste good? I usually use power whey gold nutrition I cba taking protein though just never go t the hand of it... casein is a quick money scam dunworry all marketing

 

Well im a fussy eater and I think it tastes alright so you should have no problem.

 

Be careful. I see it's a mix of lots of different stuff. When you're looking for fast absorption you'd better buy pure whey protein.

It looks like a great deal but I don't know about the quality of matrix monster. It's probably cheap because it's more carbs than protein.

 

I got the 5lb tub of ON on black friday for $55 and it came with 30 day preworkout ON as well. Pretty sweet deal, tastes great w/ milk and decent w/ water. I like Syntha 6 a lot too though, I'd probably rather spend a few extra dollars to make sure I like the stuff.

 

Eggs are pretty cheap protein, u can find cheap tuna conserves.

it might be 850g, but what are you really getting. I know i used to use this whack ass walmart brand protein that said to give 20gs a scoop but turns out i was actually getting about 5g's after it all metabolised, most of it was sugar. Cant remember the actual science behind it, read/heard about it via bodybuilding forums and the hodgetwins

Exactly. Only time you should take a supplement is when you aren't receiving your daily intake goal for that macro. Don't rely on that processed garbage.

eat big.. get big.

Cheap protein sources = Frozen boneless skinless chicken breast, tilapia, tuna, eggs

Carbs = green leafy veggies, rice, oats
