About half a year ago I was banned from Sythe for offsite scamming, which at the time I had no idea was a bannable offense. I had recently discovered a trade swapping method for Runescape (Swapping an item of lower value for a similar looking item of higher value in the trade screen), which I had experimented with for about 3 days, and made a hefty profit with. I thought nothing of it at the time, just was happy to be finally making a bank.
After making about 100m with the method, I decided to ask one of my msn friends opinion's about whether or not I should make a guide and share my method with Sythe. I had scene luring guides, and assumed it was OK. My "Friend" happened to be in touch with Superman, and not more than an hour later, I was banned for 24 hours. I felt terrible, and vowed never to scam again, as I loved the community here, and would never scam anyone here.
I came back to Sythe after the 24 hour ban period, after of course returning my loot to the victims of my scamming, and it turned out my ban had been extended from 24 hours, to permanently.
I have always been legitimate on Sythe, never even harming another member in the slightest, and am now banned. I had over 700 posts (I think), and was even a 5$ donator. I was a productive member of the community.
Ever since I was banned, I have never even considered scamming, and truly miss you all. Thank you for listening, and I hope I can once again become part of the community.
