Absolutely - if you get scammed in anyway, you can do anything(i believe) to recover the item you sold.

youre in alot of trouble if there is a card and your correct address on the paypal account i did this once and i kept getting debt collector letters they eventually took me to court and i had to pay 600£ witch is about 1100$! paypal always wins.
