Melee boxing

I'm considering starting staking.

I have a maxed out main, level 138, 99 all combat stats.

Is there any tricks/tips to melee boxing?

Or is it literally just go in and both keep punching or whatever till one loses

 

Stucking is luck, you will more than likely be cleaned or rich.

boxing at max cmb is the same as dicing haha 50/50 mage boxing would be a better option imo but your maxed out so yeah =/

 

What is mage boxing? Also I don't like dicing as hosts keep 10% which means you need to win more than 50% to make a profit..

So there's nothing I can do to win other than just go in there and basically get the first click as quick as possible?
Should you change the attack style during the box?

 

98% chance you'll get cleaned if you don't know how to stake smart. I'd say don't go into the gambling buisness if you're not familiar

I know Melee boxing can't be too complicated, that's why I want to begin with that, just need some tips if there are any which help you win

 

I've won close ~3b boxing now.

Only trick that makes a massive difference is - PID.
Can't be asked to explain what it is, but I'm sure you can find threads about it somewhere.

Also an example/simulation of what would happen to me.

I'm superstitious when it comes to staking.
When I feel it's the right time, I stake BIG.
Whenever I'm low on my cash pile I tend to stake my bigger items.
Then win. Making loads amount of profit.

Good luck, try watching some vids on boxing. Always make sure you look at the options and make sure you're not getting scammed.

Always have runes / SoL / Claws / Arrows / Bow / Shield / Summoning pouch & Scrolls / Pots
Just in case you do get scammed, you at least have a chance.

 

There are some statistics with staking such as the 2x until you win method because any win out of the 2x'ing brings you up the first amount staked. And the way it works is, well the way it's supposed to work is that lets say you have 7 chances of 2xing your previous stake before you lose your cash pile. You need to 1 win one stake out of 7 which are pretty good statistics. Good luck though .

But if boxing is ALL about luck, then you could just do double stakes.

Box 10m Lose
Box 20m Lose
Box 30m Lose

30M + 20M + 10M = 60M

So next box 60M, and just keep doubling till you win...to get all your money back then start again from like 10M, obviously you'd need a high cash pile to do this, but if you do have a VERY high pile, you'll almost never *Lose* money from staking

 

Was writing that out as you posted that ^ lol, but yeah that works pretty well, just need to have a good cash pile to begin with. It more or less gurantees no loss from staking

 

PiD almost never makes a difference unless your doing rapier/whip. First hit in boxing will give you a 1% advantage maybe.

 

Baha I made a killing in 2 days then lost 400m, stay away from it.

 

I believe most people who get cleaned from staking, just get too addicted and think they'll continue winning everytime lol, need to bet smartly, and don't get addicted..

 

Easier said than done. You never know when your losing streak will end, and when your winning streak will end. People that lose it all keep thinking to themselves I lost the last 5 stakes I will probably win the next, and keep going until they realize they got screwed over by a 8-10 loses in a row. Its also vice versa, you will never know when your winning streak ends so you will keep betting thinking you lost 2-3 bets out of 10, and that you can make the money back but you end up getting cleaned.

Also do note not everyone goes up from 50M->500M or some very high amount, quite a few people will make 50-60M than lose 50-60M, basically a cycle.

Btw how exactly can you bet smart? I keep seeing people say that and it leaves me thinking "wtf??"

 

Well one way is to double the stake each time you lose. Also don't get greedy and go all in, and if you continue winning, learn when to walk away, and not continue betting almost all your bank, etc. Some people will win like 100m then have a 300m bank then bet the 300m, etc

 

I find most of the to be common sense rather than smart betting. But I should warn you the doubles method is a nice way to get cleaned. It may not happen anytime soon but if you duel lets say 50-60 times a day then after 3-5 days your almost certain to be cleaned, or out of your staking money.

 

Actually that is very untrue. It effects how often you're hitting, first hits and how high you're hitting.

 

Haven't noticed that happening really, I guess I will try PiD again and see how it works.

 

This, better end up not using them then to get killed by someone changing rules.
