Chaos Elemental Pet Hunt [COMPLETE]

I feel pretty nooby by not having a pet at maxed combat so idecided to get the chaos Ele pet. I have killed right now 60 Chaos elementals and 625 Chaos fanatics

Chaos ele = 1/300 Chance for pet

Chaos fan = 1/1000 Chance for pet



I wan't to do a progress log here to keep track how shit my RNG really is.
I Seriously believe my luck is one of the worst ones in this game. So lets see how many kills i can go without getting the pet. Its supposedly 1/1000 for Fanatic. I will be updating this thread with what i get every 25 kills.
Hopefully updating this will keep me motivated.

 

Just did 25 more kills, no pet. I do around 50 kills per trip just so i can bank.

The loot for 600-650:

 

Kills 650 - 700, No PET
And also no rare drop table loot as well

 

Nice mate good luck. I'm hunting as well for the pet. Just started chaos ele after 700 kc at fanatic without drops. I thought fanatic was 1/3000 drop rare though

Method of killing Chaos Fanatic? How long does it take you to kill it? How often do you run into a team?

Hope you get it within 1,000 kills.

 

I use blowpipe and a cannon, If you position the cannon correctly you hit it twice every time it rotates. Every kill takes around 45 secs. Usually get around 50 k/hr.
There's not a lot of teams but there are single pkers. I have only died to a pker once and thats because i was typing to flame him.

The game doesn't hate you.

From what I understand each drop is defined by a table with a % chance of you getting each drop on each table, the rates you see are the AVERAGE amount of kills it would take to hit the rolls enough times for it to land on the chaos elemental pet from what I understand(I may be wrong) a dice is rolled to see if u land on the common table, uncommon table, rare table or ultra rare table then another dice is rolled to determine what drop you receive on that particular table.

Looking through your loots it looks like you've hit the rare table 4 times(1/256) meaning you've actually been LUCKY in your drops in terms of only 1,000 kills, you've hit the rare table more often then the average player does.

Considering you've already been lucky(by a bit), Its not surprising you haven't hit the ultra rare table yet, if you'd of only gotton 3 loots then u may of been a little unlucky, 2 loots very unlucky, 1 loot insanely unlucky/rng hates u, 0 loots idk.

Your literally almost on exactly where you should be though in terms of drops vs kills, so idk why u'd feel slighted lol.

Considering your right where you need to be, its very possible you may not get it for another 1,000 kills.

Congrats! Is it a lot better to camp the fanatic over the elemental for the pet?

 

Yes, kills are over 4 times faster, 5-6 if using cannon. He's also on single so you don't get piled, there are also more escape routes (kbd lair)
