Changing Name

[loneB]

For security reasons I'd like to have my name changed to something else. Is this possible?

It's extremely important to me for this to happen. I've had the account since late 2009, but only recently started coming back.

Over the past year or so things have changed and I need to make sure I take the proper precautions.

No, you can't change it.

No, you can't change it.

Who are you and why are you posting? Please link me to some sort of Q&A or rule sheet.

He's right. It's posted in the rules: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=148431

Name changes are NOT allowed except in ONE, and only ONE, case. If someone is promoted to staff and has an unprofessional username, we may allow them to change it to something more professional. If their existing username is professional enough, however, they will NOT be given a name change. Name changes are NOT a donator perk IN ANY WAY regardless of donation level. Capitalization and other "minor" changes are included in this rule regardless of how "minor" the change may seem. Asking staff members for a name change in violation of these rules may result in an infraction.

Also, Matthew recently made a post to clarify this, as there was some resounding confusion: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1219604

That's my secondary account. I just didn't have time to full post because I wasn't at my home.

Great, thanks. Not sure what to do now.

You can make a new account. Though you would erase all this accounts history because you wouldn't be using it, it's not really much though(19 posts and a 09 Join date).

So long as you make a new account, and do not interact with this account, you should be fine. Otherwise, as stated above, nothing else can be done.
