Changing default browser to firefox

Hello, i would like to change my default browser to firefox.

Like when im on msn, i want to change it to where i click on mail it goes to firefox instead of IE

1. Go to Tools
2. Options
3. Under the 'Main' tab, it says 'System Defaults'. Click Check Now. amd click 'Yes'.

i already have that

but, whenever i open mail via msn it uses IE

That's because MSN is from Microsoft (I'm pretty sure). Microsoft uses Microsoft products.

MSN calls Internet Explorer directly, rather than telling the OS to use it's default browser. Stop using the MSN client, lol.

Yeah, just ask Microsoft to change it. You're a paying customer, you should be able to demand what you want.

Ya Microsoft dosent like you using firefox.

Recently thou I have been able to log on to my Office live account through firefox so maybe thell change it soon.

when you first install firefox i believe there is an option to check... just reinstall it and check that option

hey, thought I''d let you know that there's a work around MSN opening email in IE. All you need is to download and install
1.Messenger Plus! Live
2. StuffPlug
3. Make sure FF is default browser
It should all work after that.

Firefox has a dialogue that opens when you start it that asks if you would like to make it your default, say yes

As for the MSN thing, it will always use IE because Microsoft products are integrated with each other
