Change the $/M for Donations

You are vastly overestimating the price of bulk gold. I myself buy gold for .38/m, FireZ I believe sells it via WU, and with the fee, gets .35/m. And either way, he's offering a service, so you really don't have reason to complain

 

And the reason you're donating in the first place should be because you want to give back to the community. If you don't want to spend more money, simply don't donate.

 

I thought, at first, that he was buying and selling same amount, I didnt know he was selling .50/M as a charge for his service, that is why i posted. knowing the truth now, I have no problem with him charging for his services.

 

Yeah I was going to donate $50 but I feel .35 is bit low, I’ll probably just mail in.

 

He also has to pay to ship the money too, unless Sythe trusts hin to do a paypal or something. I think the price is pretty fair for the conveniance. However, it's not a big deal but to donate $5 it is 14m and to donate $25 it is 71m but 14M times $5 is 70M for $25 donation instead of the 71M. I am guessing he rounded and it is how the numbers worked out but I never understood this.

Actually, if you read all other posts like i did, you would understand that even though .35/M may be ridiculous, it actually becomes quite fair for theh trouble Fire is going through.

Mils rate has been upped to .38 a M. As long as I can sell without hassle I can keep raising it

 

I have never sold above .45 a Mil, too much of a waste of my time. I'll write a full summary up of gp donations and what I have to do to try to keep them moving smoothly sometime later on.
