Account recovery after 1 Year?

Hey, I bought a Main account 1 Year ago and I want to know is it possible to recover for the original owner the account after years? (The account was locked 2 times and was successfully unlocked)

The Account had 1 Dungeoneering and Divination when I purchased it and was very inactive in that time, I lvled the account from 2100 total to 2500

 

Yes, but as the years go by it gets harder for them to recover. Continuous failed attempts may result in the account getting locked.

 

Not likely after a 3 month span

 

Shouldn't be harder to recover as long as you haven't forgotten the info and haven't moved around too much.

I bought an acc in November and has been locked 3 times so far, the OO was able to recover everytime with ease. I don't see time as an issue, however moving ips a bunch may cause the acc to get locked.

 

As long as the original owner has the correct info then obviously. You wont know unless you try?:s

 

Your question isn't very clear. Are you asking if it is possible that the person who sold you the account can get it back? If so, yes.. but he would have to email jagex manually and provide a convincing story.

 

I recovered my main after 6 years of inactivity, I didn't know any of the info, including the recoveries or registered email.

Accounts can still be recovered by the original owner at any point.

It's always possible for original owner (account creator) to recover the account. As they might've saved: Creation ip,date,location, recovers, first email, p2p purchases (pins/credit card details etc.)

So you just gotta wish they don't recover it.

 

I can recover any of my account with barely any info simply because I have the creation IP. Original owners can pretty much always recover an account at any point in time.

 

I think the original owner can get it anytime as long as he has creation ip as runescapwns said. But it still could be difficult if they don't have a lot of information.

 

No, Jagex will see all the activity for the past year by your IP
And they wont remove the email for him, since no changes happened to the account

If the email is removed, he can.

 

Yeah but if someone has the creation ip, can't jagex see that they're obviously the owner of the acc, so perm recovery
