Censor URLs via new addon

In regards to the guy, who embeds copied website designs of trusted members to link to his scamming website, I was thinking what could possibly be done against him. He'll be able to dodge anything we put in place against him for sure, but we should be able to make it all a bit harder for him. Banning his IP would've been a thing I would've done immediately, but I understand this can easily be dodged by getting a new IP, espeically if/when he uses VPNs.

So I was thinking, what if we block the links to his website? This should be able to work on normal test. I'm not so sure if it will work if he embeds his pictures with links. Hopefully the addon I'm speaking about will make this impossible too.

Sadly it's unmaintained and it's quite old.
Another addon could be this one: [fgX] Advanced Censoring

I'm sure there are more to find. I do think he'll be able to dodge those if he generates his links later on via ******* or something, but for the time being this could help.

 

Richard already gets rid of bad urls. Just report it to a moderator or TCT member

 

Didn't know there's a censor in place for bad URLs? Might wanna use that one against his website then. I am aware to report his posts, which I constantly do, but for example this afternoon (~8 hours ago) there was no moderator online and his threads were there for atleast a few hours.

 

Then what about the legit seller? How would their website not get blocked?

 

You are able to insert URLs, so if his website would be "Google.com" you could rename it to "Blocked".
Only Google.com would be blocked this way, if you want to block more websites, you'll have to add them manually.

 

This is already a thing in SL. The problem is he makes different URLs.

 

Support even though like you say yourself, he can pretty much dodge anything that is done. He is stubborn too as I've reported hundreds of his topics now and he still replaces them quickly

 

That guy is joke, I call him out for copying someone's thread and he responds by posting on my personal thread that I scammed him 100m.
