[CDT] What kind of Tournaments would you like to see hosted on Sythe.Org? [POLL]

So.. what kind of tournaments does the Sythe Community want to see hosted?

Feel free to state reasons as to why below as well

Starting February the plan will be to host one tournament per month, although hosting a tournament is a lot of work, the CDT knows how fun they can be if hosted properly & we're willing to put in that work.

The results of this poll will impact the decision as to what tournaments we will host in the future, so please do vote if you come across this thread and have any interest in tournaments.

If you don't have any interest in tournaments still feel free to vote, maybe you'll change your mind sometime later in your Sythe career and want to participate in one. (Who doesn't like tournaments though?)

No in real life tournaments, unless you can link me to a site that has that..

Also you would be the first to lose so i'm not sure why you're suggesting that

 

Poker, chess and RS based would be great fun.

We could even try hosting 2/3 tournaments so that Sythe members have a variety rather than everyone trying to sign up to 1 tournament.

We could try something like a general tournament (chess or poker), a runescape (clan wars) type of tournament and another popular game on Sythe.

With the right level of effort and team work I think we're more than capable of pulling something like this off.

If we only did 1 tournament and a lot of members aren't interested then we are losing out a chunk of the community, multiple tournaments should mitigate that.

Only downside is it could take a long while. WOuld need to make it speed rounds

 

I'm sure there will be a game with timers so that players cant take forever on a move. I used to be one the best players back in college but haven't played in forever now!

 

Connect 4 and checkers because they are fast, fun and easy for everyone to play. Runescape themed maybe clan wars event on 07 or some castle wars. I'm thinking like a tourney where people enter putting their combat stats and the CDT evenly spreads out teams for tournament rounds.

Not sure if ur being serious or not but that would actually be a good weekly event idea later down the road, who can make the nicest looking plate of food or something, don't think we could make a tournament for cooking though.

 

sure you can.

make a bracket and each round have a certain food everyone has to cook. whoever cooks it better (as decided by the community) moves on to the next round.

Would love to see, any N64 games in a tournament, and Im sure anyone would like them, btw, there are a few ways to play them online trough emulators.

here's a tutorial that I havent checked it troughly.


And, if this is not possible, there should be tournaments, related to the games that the markets are for= League of legends, Overwatch, Runescape, etc, Im all for attracting people to sythe. and this could help if you promote something like "discounts", money prizes etc.
