Few questions, would RWT be available? Also could we swap 07/Rs3 for Sythe RSPS gold? I know a server that does it. It requires an in-game middleman but since it's a Sythe RSPS maybe we could use a Sythe OMM? Just some thoughts

revision 317 is by far the best but make it with more modern items skills etc.

 

317 with a dedicated team to quickly fix bugs, actual economy, Treasure Trails, Quests would be amazing. Everything like it was in the actual game, it would take time, but it is possible.

XP should probably like x5 as it is in Deadman mode. However, no other graphical/skrill changes should be implemented.

I want all this like it was in 2004-2005: Oldschool Runescape: Old Old RuneScape

Just as an update, it won't be official. Not enough people have filled out the survey to Richard's likings so he won't be maintaining it himself. He did however tell me that he'd leave it up to a subgroup to build and maintain the server if they'd like. If the community builds it and it's popular, I'm sure Richard will look into it himself and help maintain it. If anyone would like to work on it, shoot me a message and I'll share the survey results with you.


*Note: I am not in charge of "creating the RSPS" if however the community wants to create an RSPS they are free to do so*

 

It would definitely get popular if there was a dedicated team and the server was a complete replica of 2005 RuneScape....

If it was launched it wouldn't be just Sythe members playing plus it would bring a lot of new members here.

Old School RuneScape was launched because of a RS2007 success and it wasn't even properly launched. We already have a 2007 RuneScape (OSRS) and RS3, so we need something better, something that brings nostalgia and is unique. Also 2004-2006 were pretty much the best years.

 

Depends on how you want to make it.
If it's going to be PK base, then make it a spawn.
If it's going to skilling based, then add achievments and other skilling accommodations.

 

I still prefer 2010 - 2011, those were the best years for me

 

The funnest part about private servers imo is that there are so many "experts".
For me personally post free trade update coming back & pre-eoc sounds nice... I'd probably try it out for atleast a few mins regardless of the revision

I say make it a 317-474 but no further. Any of the better features from future updates can be easily added and can be coded into the future. Start off with a solid, simple base and grow from there. Try to do too many things at once and I believe the whole thing will be flawed.

 

317, imo the newer ones die off faster.

 

Have some good news for you guys.. Tech Core will officially start working on the Sythe RSPS so expect it to be released soon!
