Instead of contributing to breaking, contribute to building.

Hey guys,

So, I have seen alot of people complaining on this forum about scammers, hackers, ban evaders, and to
top it off "dead" forum. I try to be an active, helpful, constructive poster on this forum as I always do,
and alot of people complain about the dead forum. From being an active member of the community,
what I have noticed, is that the market section is very active - the most active. Some other sections of
the forum have some activity, and I do agree with most people it would be nice if the community had
more activity but we need to build on that together.

In my opinion, one HUGE thing that everyone could do is instead of ragging about how inactive the
community is, and making posts / threads about that, we should all try to 'create' a new thread more
than once a week. The more threads there are for people to post on, the more activity you can see. I
have just started to do this now, I have run out of threads to comment on in alot of sections but what
I am going to do is continue to try and make all new threads for people to post on and enjoy. If more
people got on this page with me, we could easily bring activity up in other sections.

It is not that we are inactive outside of the market, we lack the content to be active on.
Opinions?

 

i absolutely agree community should help out to each other have discussions about stuff

 

I think together as a community, with the good hearted respectable kind people that we can be, we can be a much more active
community together and give each other much more threads to post on and things to discuss. Ultimately, people say this site is
'inactive' because of the normal sections of the forum that don't get posted in. In reality, this is a market site, the market is active,
if people want other activity we have to come together as a community to bring it.

 

This is very true, although some seek this website as a form of advertisement it doesn't take but a few minutes to give back to the community. I think maybe the forums have become more of a marketplace than a community for most users though.
