Yeah should of just remade if minions werent even in lane yet.

my own match we were prepared to 3v2 as video was mia. we got into the game 3v2 and Gen said video was back so we remade the match. He actually wasnt back though but its the thought that is the point. A few mins of reloading is worth for a fair match.

 

And there's no reason why he couldn't of restarted the client and had his teammates sit a little back for a single wave.

Edit - actually wouldn't he be able to reconnect before minions spawn if it only takes him 60 seconds to reconnect.

 

60 seconds is a fair amount of time. Personally I load in, buy my items then I start to walk to lane. I don't notice the hp bars until I'm starting to walk to lane, in which time it can easily be 2 minutes the whole process. Aram map has a large part to do with bush control early on. Lack of it can cause an unfair advantage. For all we know they took advantage of that fact after knowing/assuming he would disconnect and reconnect.

 

Who's fault is it for not noticing you don't have hp bars? Your own. A little bush control in the start isn't going to severely impact a game. (unless you let yourselves get killed by them using the bush control which shouldn't happen if you are somewhat smart)

 

@Gen has came to a ruling on the dispute.

In professional tournaments games are only halted if its a server fault/equipment fault(the equipment given to them by the tournament)

What the fuck ruling is this. In professional tournaments games are PAUSED and then the issue is FIXED.

 

i don't think him not seeing health bars would be a issue on his side, but rather with the client itself. Is @Gen saying that if something like this happened in the LCS they would continue on with the game?

There was more than just this that was discussed, this was just his final wording on the say.

 

I asked @TySimpson " you played your match yet for the tourney?" he said no.

He told me after that post that "so moo made them play it w/o me" meaing you did. either way shits s shit show

 

The issue is:

1) There was no proof of the health bars not showing.
2) This was a personal technical error. No one else in the game was affected by a health bar glitch/dcing in game.
3) Mumble/Magoosh/Tyler could've remade if they agreed, but they didn't have to.
4) Tournaments are only paused due to errors from the server and faulty equipment provided by hosts. Since this tournament was played from home, neither of those apply.

TLDR:

Mumble/Magoosh/Tyler could've remade if they agreed, but didn't have to. It was a personal issue with DCing and there was no proof of the health bars missing.

Please stop spamming this thread with arguments and take it to feedback/suggestions.

 

Yeh it's no ones fault but Ty's fault for not making sure his league client was installed properly before the match, I made sure mine was installed properly, same thing goes for the person who experienced the no health bar.

If it means anything, I've gotten the "no health bars" glitch a few times in the past week in ranked solo queue and I've had to reconnect which would take me around 30 seconds. It's definitely on Riot's end.

Me and Katana are subbing in for them since we're the same rank.

Teeto has been informed of this for a couple days and hasn't found any subs yet for his team.

The last day to play is tomorrow so Osama's team will advance since Teeto is either unwilling or unable to play.
