Cats final moments

This has actually left me in floods of tears.

I couldn't watch it, too heartbreaking. I remember when my cats died, it was absolutely awful, I was so upset. I'm dreading the day my dog passes away, I don't know how I'll cope. :'(

 

It hurts to watch a pussy pass away.

 

The video makes me think of my when my cat died..sad shit man.

 

That video destroyed me.

 

Even worse if you watch another video posted by the user, in which it shows the condition of the cat. It's pretty much skin and bones.

 

Wow this is so sad. I want to be petted when I am dying.

 

You know, I really don't like cats very much.. but I have to say, that was really sad Atleast the cat died with his owner at his side, speaking softly to him and petting him so that he could be calm and relaxed as he passed on. He could have died alone with nobody there.

And I've had a new one for the past 8 years,

Reminded me of when my cat died

 

I was really surprised how many similar videos were in the the column next to it... I guess alot of people film their last moments with their dying animals and upload it to Youtube. Pretty depressing and weird

 

It's extraordinary, being witness to a living being's regression into death. Depressing, absolutely, but, there's something beautiful about the transition, really makes you flustered over life and death and puts things into perspective.

Death is both a beautiful and tragic ordeal.

 

Yeah I can understand that. I have never been witness to somebody passing away, but I have been told by friends and family that have experienced it that you can literally "feel" the change in the environment when a person takes their last breath and then dies. My parents were with my Dad's mom in the hospital when she died before I was born, holding her hand and comforting her as she passed on. They told me that its an incredibly sad, yet beautiful experience to be present when somebody is finally ready to die and their soul exits their body. Pretty deep stuff.

 

Pretty sad to see, but I'm not one to cry.

 

That sucks. I would wanna cry if it were my cat or something.. Poor kitty

 

The cat seemed pretty alive at the end of the video. Trust me, when you've had a cat die next to you before, you know what it looks like. When cats die, they ALWAYS close their eyes.
