Cataclysm Leveling

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying cataclysm and I heard rumors about 1-60 being a lot easier. I heard they reduced some parts of leveling by 25%. My question to you guys: Is this true? Or is this exaggerated?

Leveling is indeed much easier. All the low level areas have been revamped via story lines to make the quest mean something and getting to them is alot easier. They have also added quests for low level dungeons near the start of the dungeon to increase the xp you get from them even more.

If you wish to gain even faster experience, you can always start a new account and do recruit-a-friend, where you get triple the experience while in party with the person that recruited you into the game. This triple experience applys while grinding, questing, dungeoning, and doing battlegrounds all the way up to level 60! If you don't have someone that can recruit you, you can always post here (http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=754680) so a member here on sythe can recruit you.

Thanks for the help! Sadly starting a new account would mean buying all 3 expansions + vanilla wow from scratch which is at least $150 and I don't want to do that just for a 1-60 >_<.

They reduced the xp required to go from 71-80 by 20%. They've also added in guild perks that allow you to gain extra xp if you're in a guild that's a high enough level, as well as buy boa backs and helms(?) that all grant 10% extra xp ontop of the existing boas.

 

Yea it is a lot easier to lvl now
