Castle Wars Outdated?

I don't think its dead. Its still pretty active. Just go to Castle War worlds, and you'll still find a ton of people.

They still have over 15+ Castle War clans. Im still amazed after they took away IP from Castle Wars.

 

There's no point, everyones moved from there to Sw for exp.

 

Personally I would barrage/burst at castle wars for mage experience since I'm used to doing that. It's a classic way of mage exp. It's also kinda fun if you like capture the flag. It's not so much outdated, it needs more added to it is all

 

I wouldn't mind a new reward or two, preferably useful rewards this time

Castle wars is extremely old, one of the oldest minigames as far as I remember. These days nobody really plays it anymore due to the newer pretty looking minigames with rewards pretty much shitting all over it.

 

I have honestly played runescape since 04 i used to play castle wars EVERYDAY. I had all the armor on it and it felt great but yes it saddens me to realise its lost its point. The armor was once respected before Bandos and all other expert gear i think they should make the armor have better stats like the 2nd could be the same as rune and so on. Would be great to have it updated.

 

lmao cw worlds are filled with cwc + cw clans n piders.. and i stopped at like 07' cuz they nerfed the stairs n cades n stuff. Old cw was much better n had more ppl. I guess you can say its dead.

 

I say it's dead.

I mean, logically speaking... Castle Wars turned into a more complex version of Soul Wars. Take into consideration that Soul Wars offers more rewards skill wise. Soul Wars has basically taken over and left CW in the dust.
