By the way, does anybody know when the servers would be launched?

 

Not sure when they get officially launched but I know Jagex has an backup back from August 2007 so it's just up to them when they decide to release it.
I think the vote was until the March the 1st.

 

Jagex said it will take 1 or 2 months before it gets released. It also depends on the outcome of the voting, more votes(milestones) > bigger team on it to get it up & running.

don't see it reaching 750k as well, if you do the math we'll need 1 vote every 1.5 seconds up until the poll closes. atm we're somewhat on pace but the amount of people voting is bound to slow down in the coming days.

it would definitely help if jagex did a better job advertising the poll like they did for the wildy one which was displayed on the front page...

 

250K WILL be hit. BUT, we need 500k, NOT 750k. if it's 500k, we can all bot the fuck out of our levels, but it should be fun. goblins and cows overrun with people and no gp in the game.... :/ weird.

man i'm surprised how little the rs2007 has achieved in terms of response. just shows most of the oldschool players have moved on.

Is that sarcasm? I think it's making good time so far, 150,000 votes in two days isn't bad... but then again, the growth of votes will probably look more logarithmic rather than linear.

Like many have said above me, most of the old-style players have moved on. Jagex should just give us 2007scape for free and cut the crap. :/
