Can't Recover an Account Back :(

Well last night I was in a rush to get a members upgrade so I could xfer the name on this account. And yes I noticed there have been a lot of people scamming in the upgrade accounts section but I didn't double check this guy.

Well basically I got scammed out of the name E3 and 4m cash. I've tried to recover it 3 times now yet I get denied each time for the same reasons. I have an email registered on it and I know all the previous passwords. I just don't want this name to go to waste, or to have it used by some idiotic scammer.

If someone knows how I can get this account back it would be much appreciated.

 

Well, firstly unlucky with getting scammed, if it was someone on this forum and you have proof report them so they don't scam someone else!

Do you have any recoveries on the account and do you know any old recoveries which have been on the account, that would really help.

 

Post on another account on the Runescape Official Forums, find the "Account Help" section then click the "Account Clean" thread and post details that a Jagex Mod has made in the first thread post.
They'll remove any hacker information, and if the scammer does/did change your username a Jagex Mod will get it back for you(Only if Jagex believes you got hacked)

Are you the original owner + using the same IP you had when you created it? Because that seems to matter a lot more then anything else nowadays.

apparently jagex will do all the work for you, as long as they believe you are the true owner.
