Cant go into #sythe.

Each time I connect, I get this;

Note; I blocked my IP with #

Anyone know how to fix this or if I am doing it wrong? It started a few days ago, I just got onto mIRC Sythe channel like any other day I go in, but I get this. Contact me if anyone can help by PM, or AIM or MSN.

Did you /j #sythe after?

 

that nickname is already registered to sythe irc.

If its your nickname just type
/msg nickserv identify (and your password here)
if the nickname your tryin to get on isnt yours, just tell irc to use an alternate and it should work fine .

After it says its accepted then type /join #sythe

 

You havn't logged in. If you make a new account (/nick <namehere>), remember to register it.

 

Tried that all, still doesnt work.

Any help please? Also, at the bottom of that quote, it says MOTD File is Missing, whats that mean?

 

just delete mirc, and download new http://mirc.com/get.html, takes like 5min

after uve installed, open it, type /server irc.sythe.org to the chat spot. after that /nick CodyX36 then /ns register pass e-mail : register ur nickname ( if u hawnt done it already ) */ns register example(password) [email protected]*

after that u will see -NickServ- A passcode has been sent to ([email protected]), please type /msg NickServ confirm <passcode> to complete registration go to ur mailbox and copy/paste *NickServ* confirm ******(this is different for every1)

after that just type : /j sythe and u should be in sythe cannel

but if this nickname already exists then idk.




but first try that: /ns identify pass :: It lets you logon to your registered nickname.

It's the Message Of The Day file, it's on the server's side, don't worry about it.

Just make a new nickname.

/ns register password email

Then, I go to the channel #sythe and nothing happens.

 

Ive tried 3 different IRC programs and I get this same message when I try to get into the sythe irc. I load up and connect to irc.sythe.org. Then when everything loads up I get this at the bottom:

Then I cant get into #sythe. Yes, I did the /msg NickServ Identify _______ but it still doesnt work. I know its not my irc, its the sythe server, so can someone help me out please? I am getting tired of this...

just choose another nickname to use

 

I can connect and everything to irc.sythe.org, but when the channel window comes up, I type in #sythe, press connect and then the channel window just closes, and nothing happens...

Shit, sorry wrong forum, I thought I was in the IRC one... Im retarded.

 

open mIRC and write this exactly:

/server irc.sythe.org
/j #sythe

then you need to do:

/msg nickserv register <password> <email>

where it says <password> you put the password that you want there and for <email> thats were the verification email will go, make sure to remove the '<>'s, your welcome.

 

Haha. Well first of all, you are not suppose to push connect after typing the channel name. If you don't understand, just exit out of the channel box, and type /join #sythe manually.

 

Just do /server irc.sythe.org -j #sythe

That will join you to sythe when you connect. Then ID yourself with nickserv.
