[second opinion needed] JMG ban dispute

Apologies for the quick ban - I wanted to make sure that, if you were scamming, other people didn't get scammed as well. If it was just a normal scam, I'd have waited for your input as well.

That said, I appreciate the thorough report and would like to hear other people's opinions on it. What I really need is someone who knows the intricacies of force-logging people out of accounts. Will get back to you shortly.

I was disconnected from my internet for two minutes. Password for the staker was never changed, and when I logged in the cash was gone. As soon as I was able to come back online I messaged him. Two minutes is a lot of time to trade a different account and then log onto his other duel standing account.

I am renting account A

He has Account B and C at duel arena, trades cash to one and logs onto the other to show "no cash stack."


As for force logging people there are a few scenarios:
-Request a recovery to force off, but the password is changed.

-DDOS while player is in combat, which forces automatic logout and then the player will finish the fight/log out after 30 seconds

-DDOS while player is not in combat (ie standing at duel arena), which forces automatic logout and then the password remains the same.


Also, please don't play the "I could have scammed much more" card because I can just as easily do that to you. Almost all of the big payouts on the recent "king of w301" youtube vids are from my accounts which I rent. If I wanted to scam, I could have easily recovered an account after 5B+ RS3 pot wins, and then gone on a scamming spree. Ranks in the clan can confirm I owned this account - it was banned for RWT, and I can post proof of ownership if needed.

 

Honestly I'm tempted to side with Krillex on this, but still, I wouldn't mind a second opinion.

 

For account rental wealth scams, the only real proof that we can accept would be an uninterrupted video showing the user being booted off and then logging back in with their gp gone. I'm not saying these shots were faked but hypothetically krillex could have just banked/traded off the 99m and taken the shot. There's no solid proof that JMG scammed the 99m
