This is not a random place to raise your post count as it seems many are just posting random stuff. READ WHAT IT SAYS.

 

Is there a logical thought process to follow with this riddle? Because I can't pick up anything. Are we suppose to be reading it literally, or is it like a play on words?

CLUE #2: The wording of the riddle is a red herring. Think of the riddle as a "my first is, my second is etc.

EXAMPLE:

My last is in gin but not in (letter g)

A red herring is something to throw you off, confuse you, etc.

I see how you have this BUT, what would a penny have to do with both Neptune and Pluto?

What if Unknown, Neptune, and Pluto are names of people. And the penny took a journey through all of their hands? It started in Unknowns pocket, he spent it and it went to Neptune, then eventually got to Pluto's pocket. I'm not really taking the riddle literally. But whatever makes sense.

I think its suppose to be a concept though... not an actual object.

 

Its not an object guys, its something you can't hold, like the Universe for example.

Not the penny, doen't have anything to do with Pluto/Neptune.
Not Uranus. Every 228 years Pluto passes Neptune, and becomes 8th planet, then goes back. Nothing about Uranus.

 

You guys are thinking too hard.... this is a word problem think ouside of logical thinking..... and Pluto is not a planet it has been classified as Dwarf Planet

 

Sorry for double post but its not letting me edit my previous post....

but if you take the question literaly then the origin of the word unknown is latin which when translated is Incomertus. Pluto is a Roman god, the god of the underworld or a hell-like place, so this may have something to do with it. Neptune was the god of the sea, which changes constantly.

is the answer Roman Mythology or the concept of Religion?
