Can you live without meat?

your body can survive without it, you can get the proteins from nuts and the like. The only downside is that some oils and other nutrients which i can't remember of at this moment, are only found in meat, and the long term effect may be greater than imagined, though vegetarians survive perfectly well without it. I eat meat nearly every day, and am not ashamed nor do i in any way frown upon vegetarians, since it's personal choice.

 

I know I can't so I don't have any idea how vegitarians can live without protien from meat.
