can you ever be ultimatly satisfied?

hello sythe, i was just wondering if you beleive that you can be ultimatly satisfied.....if you beleive so then explain how or why its possible. I personaly do not beleive we can becuase we were not made for this world

 

Satisfaction can be acquired in many ways... People may be completely satisfied living the ordinary work to pay the bills life with a loving family... or some might like partying...

In my opinion it is a state of mind. Eventually you realise you dont need all the fancy shit that people have or something...

you can never be truely satisfied with everything, you always seem to want something, you get it, and then you want more.

 

Of course it's possible to be ultimately satisfied.

Say for example, you got the highest score possible in an IQ test.

You cannot be more satisfied than that, so that is ultimate satisfaction.

 

Excatly even if you dreams change in time, there is only so much 1 person can accomplish!!! Once you get there you can not ask for anything else.

 

Yes but then if you get the highest score possible, you'll just be like whatever man i doubt the person who made this test was smart enough to get thsi score so that makes them lower than you, If i really am this smart i can do better, there's always that drive in human nature that makes you want to exceed limitations on any level. I believe that there are a select few in which are 'content' with what they have and are therefore satisfied but to be Completely satisfied is beyond human. You can be satisfied with compromises that you have made.

 

exactly! and plus even if u do make a perfect score you wont be satisfied for the rest of your life, soon you will want to know more or feel that you should do more with yourself because of your intelligence

 

I believe you cannot be "ultimately" satisfied unless you're mentally disabled and are ignorant.

To be honest it depends who you are. It is naturally in some peoples DNA to never be fully satisfied. Some people would find ultimate satisfication with something such as a good family. A good job. Some people will always want more.

 

i see........... lol anyways so your saying that theres nothing more you want? your not trying achieve any goal right now?
