Can we see this changed @ sythe @ govind

I know we're switching over from VB on New Years, I don't know how much that will change everything, BUT I was wondering if sythe/govind or someone could review this list:

And perhaps tell us what is now a possibility for sythe? I'm not a web guy, But from the preview sythe posted, it looks like Xenforo may give you guys options to do these that are on that list perhaps?


Just wanted to run this by mainly you 2 @ sythe @ govind to see what could be a possibility for you to do now, there are a few features I'd like to see.


The purpose of this thread is to hopefully get specifics on whats a possibility whats not, reasoning behind it is, I would like to know to get the community's decision on certain features that u say are a possibility WHILE ITS IN THE WORKS, that way we aren't delaying features on the dreaded to-do list, much better to get this done while its being worked on.

 

If you go through the explanations, it seems that a large majority of the reasons aren't really focusing on vBulletins inability to allow such suggestions to be passed, more or less reasons like it's unnecessary for a website such as this or it's too much work for too little reward. I mean sure, if they want to review and they think some things can be changed then go for it, cause there are some cool suggestions on that list, but I feel that the Forum Software change will do very little.

 

I did go through it, but I still think its worth getting their input on what they might be willing to do NOW COMPARED TO THEN on Xenforo compared to VB.


If they say "nothing" then that's fine, but someone has to make one of these threads sooner or later or its going to be to late and everything on that list will go onto the to-do list instead of being worked on for the release.

Sorry this is a little off topic but, what are we switching to? I didn't know we were switching from vbulletin?

 

"xenforo" is what I think sythe said bud.

I'll discuss these with Richard once he's done finishing the necessary XF work.

 

Post your suggestions with some great arguments and discussion and I'm sure we can all re-evaluate some of the things on that list.
