hello, first time user here, and i want to sell an osrs account, but i dont know the proceeds, what happens after a discord convo? is there a middleman involved thats verified? do they pay first?
can someone please guide me

First you establish what category the account you are selling fits into. Once you find that out, you make your listing in that specific forum.

Make sure to read the stickied threads in whichever forum you post prior to doing so.

Once you find someone who is interested, you both can decide how the transaction will move forward. Since you are a new user, you would benefit using a trustworthy middle man.

Typically the middleman would hold whatever currency is used for the trade and access to the account, then swap both so each party gets what they want.

You also will increase the chance of a sale if the account in specific is NOT yet a Jagex account. Keep that in mind. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Not really, no. A Jagex account makes transferring of accounts unsecured for the receiving party. Once you make an account a Jagex account, the email used to login to access said account is permanent. You would also have to give the buyer the email used for the account for it to be a complete trade, and often times that isn’t enough as the original owner can recover the email with ease. This isn’t to say you cannot go forward with the sale of the account, just rather it will be harder to find a willing buyer under those circumstances.
