Can I run this marathon?

So far I've been able to run 14 miles at an 8 minute pace. But 26.2 miles is a big difference :|
To officially finish the I must finish each lap at a 13:45 minute per mile pace.
The marathon is in 20 days or so. Is it possible to condition myself enough to run it?

 

People have run marathons with no training, as to whether it is possible or not you almost certainly could force yourself through. If you do you're obviously not going to kill yourself, but you'd need a few days of recovery.

But then again, it's hard to judge someone you don't know, over the interwebs ;D

Yes, it WILL be hard tho.

My friend is an amazing runner, he's broken every record in our school for the races he runs. He's long distance and it's hard for him to run a marathon then again he is only in highschool. Actually, as far as I know he hasn't finished one.

 

depends how easily adapted your body can be 20 days should be enough if your in good shape get of these interwebs and go running lol!

 

Should build yourself up. You could collapse if you go out of your reach. good luck though.

 

Anything you put your mind to you can do it. Just with the appropriate strengthening and conditioning.

Whoa, hold up i'm retarded. You can run 14 miles in 8minutes? Or 8 minutes every mile? Cuz 14 miles in 8minutes. F*ck..doesn't seem possible to me.

 

20 days is a long time, you would definately be in shape by then.

 

Don't do it. You'll end up hurting yourself(especially if you're under 20 years old). As a fellow runner, trust me. I'm faster then you and still wouldn't do it.

I believe you could. Don't wear yourself out though, rest a lot before hand. it will be a tough run.

I was taking it as faster as in like a 100 yard race...

But anyway. That is a lot of running you are in for I didn't see whether or not you posted if you tried to run that many miles?
