can i make this a staker?

yo! im pretty new to sythe and i was wondering if i could make my current main and first eva account into a decent staker. I know it has 50 prayer and that messes me up a few combats, (i am 84 combat now, without prayer i would be 78) but it isnt a huge deal, and it helps pkin/the occasional pray on stake. Anyways, here are my stats:
84 combat, 1 str att def or hp gives me 85, 2 pray levels for 85 also.

70 att
63 str
70 def
71 hp
70 range
67 mage

mage/range wont effect my combat until level 88 mage or range. I have cbow and karils. I was thinking about veracs staker, and leave att and def and just go for 85+ str. Anyways thats just my thoughts. Plz just people who have staked be4 and not those who have just read tons about it. Sorry but i prefer it from people who have tried it and it actually worked over those who think they have it right in theory. Thanks all.

 

First off get 52 pray for smite.
Get range to 85 or so and keep everything else the same.
Stake with full torag with crystal shield while throwing rune knives.

 

i would do the same as cubfan57 or u should barrows stake

 

Barrow tank staker? Stay with 70 attack/defence, either get 65 strength for even stats or just stay at 63. Then get range to 90+ (Do TzTok-Jad) or you can get magic to 90+ (Though it will cost more) I say get 85 magic and 99 range. Maybe get prayer to 52 or 60.

 

I say to raise str up to lvl 75 the get guthans armor with dds then raise prayer to 58 for smite got to watch out for prayer noobs

 

Dotn listen to these guys if u have low range that accoutn will own in the duel arena. Just make sure u turn pray off and smite wont do any good in duel arena. U need protect from melee maybe but that account should have low pray if it stakes.

 

thanks all for advice, i also need to know what rules i should put? most people want pray off and such, so my question is what are decent rules that wont take 4eva to get some1 to accept to, yet i will most likely win by them?

Actually prayer plays a big role in making you a good staker. Those few cb lvs do matter and if you go to w22 theres you'll find most have low prayer or 1 but theres also good stakers with 52 pray although most of them are pures. But yea
verac stakers are good and you should really work on str.

thanks for advice, i realize that it would be way better to have 1 pray but its too late now cuz i already have the account at 50 pray....and im not crazy about starting a new account. Also im not one of those 70 att 30-50 str 70 def stakers who are 100% stakers. at my level i will probably be fighting mains and typically they will have prayer. I might now be making phats on this acc but i might be able to get a few mills hopefully.

 

80 Attack and Defence
65 Strength
94 Magic
90 Range Don't Need magic and range Just added.

 

Then stats above are perfect for Armor staking Torag/Verac.

stay your stats now you would make an ok staker

 

get 70 strength adn box

 

Rune Knive pures are good, but expensive. I'd go with a common thing. Barrow DDP++ --> Whip, with Crystal Shield, Full whatever barrow, and maybe some Rune Knives.
