Can I Get Summoning?

I still want to PK in PvP Worlds, but Summoning is pretty awesome when you do it properly. I've heard that you only get the combat levels for it if you actually use Summoning in a PvP World, is this true?

 

This is true, your combat is only upped by Summoning if you have a Summoning Pouch in your inventory or have a summoned familiar with you.

well, in non pvp worlds when not at bh ur cb appears as 1 whole lvl meaning the summoning lvls added to ur cb will appear there, but in pvp worlds or at bh it doesnt affect ur cb, it will show a +X (X being the lvls added to ur cb if u where to have summoned a familiar recently)

Why would they revert there only decent update in the last year and a half?
