Can i get sued for this?

Well my dog is 8 months old.

There was this kid like 10 years old or something and i was walking my dog.
The kid started mocking him and was running around him and throwing stones and stuff at him.

So my dog ran up to him and bit him on the arm and made him bleed like crazy.(There was blood everywhere) Then the kid started crying and his mom threatened to sue me.

All i was doing was walking my dog and the kid was being a dumb shit.

Can you tell me if i can sued for this please?

in all seriousness go hide your dog somewhere cause they tend to have a very singular approach to dogs that bite people, even dickheads that deserved it and bring it on themselves by throwing things at a dog.

personally I think the kid should be put down for being a fuckwit but the world doesn;t work like that :-(

your only way of saving tht beautiful thing is to go over to the persons house and work something out with them but if u dont got the balls 4 that then hide that dog

 

I think it depends on how much they want to sue you for, obviously it can't a stupid amount. I think they have a limit for situations like this. Just do some research on Google.

Medical bills, and the bullshit pain and trauma could run u over a thousand bucks and a dead dog... If i were you pay the lady a settlement outside of court. If it does go to trial, hide ur dog and say it ran away =p

The child did provoke the dog, but It will still be put down.

 

That really has nothing to do with anything. Although, they wouldn't award pain and suffering if it's a good judge. It depends on if there were any sort of medical charges etc.

If the dog was antagonized, it can bite anyone from my point of view. You don't go around irriating dogs and then wonder why you were bitten. It's the same as any animal. As long as you had it on a leash, you should not be punished.

Btw. I have a dog like that in my neighborhood that always runs around without a leash and they probably tend to be nice animals.

Yup you can, I suggest aplogizing to the mom and the kid even though its his fault they may forgive you

 

Unfortunantly you can, and how it will go down (knowing from experiance) a few things will happen

1. they give you a offer to either put the dog down or pay how ever much it is for the bills and your dog will have to go under severe measures like tied up away from any people other than your family and out of the way of kids etc.

2. they will make you put the dog down.

3. force you to pay bills for the kid + if they wanna be dicks extra for pain and suffering (if they win in court) but as long as your dog was on a secure leash where it couldn't get away and you didn't let it go if you explain what happend they will prolly just make you pay the doctor bills

4. nothing happens because the parents are cool and understand shit happens (assuming the kid didn't like lose a arm lol) but from the size of your dog I doubt that happened.

 

Ya you can get sued, I suggest talking to them and saying that the kid started it. If they're not faggots they'll understand, if they are faggots they'll sue because they want money.
