Can I find a job with this?

I'm going to school for B.S in computer science: information technology with emphasis in application development.

Is it hard to find a career in this field?

 

Lots of work places need IT guys. That could be you.

It depends where you live really. I know here you'd be able to get a job. Medical would be very hard to get into!

You could probably find a job in medical quite easily as well, it really comes down to which you like more.

 

I heard about a lot more people studying medicine than tech :/
But you should do what you enjoy most of course, since you will be able to find a job with either.

 

Maybe you should ask your college counselor instead of a bunch of misinformed 14 year olds?

 

You can't find a lot of jobs that hire physiologists though,

 

There are tons and tons of people with the mindset that you can do anything you want in the computer science field, but the reality of the situation is that so many people are doing it that the jobs actually ARE hard to find, unless you can do some really technical stuff, or system administration or something.. those are always in demand, but they require a higher level of education as well.

Medical is probably one of the easiest fields to get into. It's the only job field that will NEVER stop growing. There will always be more people.. and that means more sick people. You'd probably also make more money with less education too, unless you wanted to become an actual doctor. Nurses and shit make good money and there isn't a shitload of schooling involved.

 

Medical is a large field. People always need medicine and help. It's only hard to get into because you need the grades.

 

My buddy is majoring in information science technology and minor in security risk analysis, both are good fields.

 

Just got in any sector of Engineering The oppotunities are endless.


EDdit: computer science is basically computer engineering, but its hard as fuck, its like everything in software engineering, and electronic engineering.

 

There will always be significant increase in jobs available to those in I.T, since its rapidly expanding, same goes with a career in medicine (ageing population etc.)

 

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, dont Obama is jackin up that feild with the new health care bill. It also depends on what college you are getting your degrees from.
